Into the magical world of #polar lights

Many of us know this phenomenal phenomenon of our mother nature, the act of lights, sprayed through the skies, making the dark night more and more lovable , yes  i am talking about the polar lights or we can say in scientific words” the auroras”.

image

The absolute magical, the whole marvelous sprinkling of coloured lights, to seems like dream come true or frel like a trip package to paradise, the bands , the hide and seek of lights, the rainbow without rain in polar skies, the matter of study for scientists or the feast to eyes for nature lovers or anyone. What not can i say.

The scientific reason behind that the magnetosphere and the solar winds containing changed particles but that not i am here to tell , u can find it on Wikipedia.I am here to tell what it means to me, hope u all like this.

Since i was a child as i came to know about this i was very curious and amazed as is it really happens ? But when i come to see the magical moments of pictures of this my life changed. I was really in love with this. I can’t tell in worlds what they mean to me or what i feel when i see those. Just one word comes to mind , awesome.
I am that kind of a boy who fancy about the magic of nature, earth, moon , sun , space , cosmos, astroscience everything.

The feeling when u see the magical display of lovely dance of lights. The sparkling of bands and strokes of rays. Really a mind blowing experience for someone, like going to heaven. To see the shades of colour, the shadows dark night, the sparks of lightning, the
mesmerizing environment ,the whole beautiful well planned performance of mother nature,…….ohh it still making me mad about it while writing. Hahahaaha

Imagine walking on night , chilled atmosphere, hands in hand with ur dear spouse, looking into skies u see marvelous polar lights making the whole thing more romantic. U forgot all things, just enjoying this moment, giving u the span of few seconds which might be more than enough for lifetime.

Not also from the grounds it is also been seen from the outer space, looks more outstanding making me speechless. Remarkably out of the world, literally. Hahahaha

But unfortunately it is not visible from all over the world, it is kept within the reach of limited areas of polar regions.
The arctic and the Antarctic.

Above images shows the region of bands from whether it can be seen 1st the Eurasia ( Europe+ Asia)and 2nd north America.
As far as me i never seen them myself but yaah its my ambition and a goal to see them as soon as and photograph them myself. That will be a unforgettable and perhaps one of my best day of my life.

  3. Your article humbled me. Homesickness anyone?
I was backpacking years ago. I left Mississippi in a fever ( hotter than a pepper sprout).
Short story long that journey took me up through the Klondike and into White Horse, Klondike and into Alaska where I hitched a ride with a pilot into the artic.Getting ahead of my story.
I knew so little-known in those days ( and much less these days) so the first night I saw ghosts dancing in the sky, I was astonished at the beauty of what might be my impending doom at the vapor hands of these magnificent visiters in the sky. I stood petrified in a moment – like the first instant I saw my wife the first time- and surrendered my heart.
Camping in the Attic ( short story long) I learned the lessons of sojourners before me. The magnanimous presence of a polar Bear, the ice fields where the winds chime and you hear the ” music of the spheres” and you sit and listen caring no more for mortal life. Yes, ready to sit there forever, well, until the Polar Bear saunters by and your mortality becomes important again. Time to go.sigh.
The look in that Bear’s eye is eternal. It knows you are there. ( heck he knew it a week before you saw him). An affinity is established and we went separate ways.
Bend Note: The Journey never turned my mind loose.
Your article made me homesick. Sniff sniff. ( wipes eyes) I am not crying. I am not crying. πŸ™‚

    • Simply awesome, your experience, your words and that line to line sense of humor.
Your story ( short and sweet) made me emotional , that line of petrified made me to think the time when i was petrified after seeing someone( obviously someone special).
That line of bear’s eyes is too good, impacting u the harsh and fearful reality of life.
I think ( reading these lines) u miss those horrific moments.if i am not wrong That evolved u into more thinker that perhaps u were been before.
At the end hats off to ur writing and use of a great sense of humor.

It is my intense pleasure to meet such a great personality and equally best human being like u.

Thank u from my bottom of heart for ur lovely, storytelling, interesting comment.
It is mine privilege talking to u.
      Keep supporting.

  4. Well you read me like a book.
I have seen so many wonderful things that I now hide in the .mountains of Montana. Running from the ugly CBS, CNN, Fox, Columbia, Warner, Paramount and Israel.
Keep writing and probing, you are in the right room. Have a seat.

I have a website on NG where I post my photography of sunrises , sunsets, ,flowers and birds. so, I do understand your passion to one day be able to see this in Person. It is definitely on my bucket list. Most of my pictures on my blog I’ve taken myself. I am in live with the photos of God’s artwork!!

  16. This is very cool. I’ve never seen such a display in person. I’m sure looking at a few awesome photographs pales by comparison to seeing the aurora borealis in person. I envy anyone the experience.
