Well his all success and glory u can find it on web but what made a small poor child to a greatest inventor of world?

I heard a small story about it.
Hope you like it,
—————————–

One day Thomas Edison came home
and gave a paper to his mother. He
told her, “My teacher gave this paper
to me and told me to only give it to
my mother.”
His mother’s eyes were tearful as
she read the letter out loud to her
child:
“Your son is a genius. This
school is too small for him and
doesn’t have enough good teachers
for training him. Please teach him
yourself.”

After many, many years, after
Edison’s mother died and he was
now one of the greatest inventors of
the century, one day he was looking
through old family things. Suddenly
he saw a folded paper in the corner
of a drawer in a desk. He took it and
opened it up. On the paper was
written: Your son is addled [mentally
ill]. We won’t let him come to school
any more.
Edison cried for hours and then he
wrote in his diary: “Thomas Alva
Edison was an addled child that, by a
hero mother, became the genius of
the century.”

  14. I absolutely love this story. My daughter is exceptionally bright and as a pre-schooler I was trying to explain that to her teachers but when she was at pre-school, she’d blend into her environment and wasn’t doing the same level of work as at home. She has that inventive brain and I look at her and think she could find a cure, invent something that changes lives and that needs to be developed to its full potential. Not to show off or just get good marks but for her to make an impact on the planet in some way xx Rowena

    • Absolutely right dear.
We should teach our children to be good, honest, hardworkers, positive, helpful for others, for humanity.
So that they become a better and better human beings.
Its nice to hear about your daughter.
Hopefully one day she will make her name stand out of millions by her work and thinking.
      Convey my greetings to her.
( you didn’t mention her name)
      Best wishes.
May God bless you, her and your family.
Thank you for your kind words.

  18. As a former English teacher, this broke my heart, Praise God for a mother who knew the power of words. I had a student that in the 5th grade could not read her name after she wrote. Very severe dyslexia. I told her not to worry about spelling but to write a story from her heart to her Mother. After she wrote it, I asked her to read it to me. She read every word and we were both crying when She finished. I called her Mother in after school and she read it to her. She openly wept. Holly is today a teacher for children with dyslexia. Your story brought up those wonderful feelings of new self esteem for a child. Thank you. Debbie

I am honored to meet and talk you and felt awesomely mind blowing to hear yours story.

Yes it is difficult to deal with dyslexia but person’s like you teach us that nothing is impossible and hard to achieve in this world.
If your intentions are right, God’s blessings with you then anything is possible.

Thank you for sharing such a nice and motivational experience with us.

      • It is because of the successes I’ve seen as a teacher when children learn the impossible because of the power of the love the have for you as a teacher when they are convinced you love and care about them. The Power of love is can do the impossible when absorbed and believed by the human spirit. Even so much more powerful when you multiply it by the infinite power and love of God is added in the mix. 20. Good story, says it all about helping your child – and others around you, not just children – just by believing in them and in their ideas and capabilities. Unfortunately, it also says a lot about most eductional systems that aren’t geared to deal with or even acknowledge skills and personalities that don’t fit the “system”…

    • Yes dear.
      I agree.
Our education system not only have to train but have to educate also.
The morals, ethics, human values, creativity, respect to each.

And yaah there are people who didn’t fit the system but they managed to create their own system by their greatness.
Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words of feedback.

    • Yeah of course.
We wouldn’t have radios and all if he wasn’t that great.
Same about Nicoli Tesla, some say he was smartest scientist and always compared with Einstein.
      Well the list is long.
Being smart or scientists isn’t necessary , its important to have impact on the world by your great deeds.
      Thank you for your comment.
